On October 5th, 2007 a class a legal action was filed against Apple and AT & T with allegations of unfair business practices as well as allegations Apple and AT&T violated California Business and Professions Code, The Cartwright Act, The Sherman Act, The Federal Trade Commission Act, The Communications Act of 1934, and The Telecommunications Act of 1996, as well as rules and policies established by the FCC. Attorneys for the two of the plaintiffs, Folkenflik & McGerity and Hoffman & Lazear have set up this web site to keep the press and public up to date on the proceedings and to make any public documents readily available.
